BIO

Anna Reeser’s short fiction has been anthologized in The Best American Short Stories 2020 and is published in journals including Cimarron Review, Fourteen Hills, The Masters Review, Khôra, CutBank, and Electric Literature’s Recommended Reading. She is an alum of the Kenyon Review Writers’ Workshops, the Tin House Winter Workshop, and the One Story Writing Circle.

Anna holds a BA from UC Berkeley in English Literature and Art Practice, and her writing draws from her background in visual art. She works as a freelance fiction editor and as a strategic copywriter. After living throughout California and the Pacific Northwest, she now lives north of Los Angeles in her hometown of Ojai with her husband and kids.

She is currently revising a novel and has completed a collection of short stories exploring the complex lives of people striving to make art.
